Cloisonee With Iris 1890
 
  
 
 
   


This Japanese button is high quality cloissonee enamel, probably made around 1900.
The very fine gold wires are soldered on the face, and the coloured enamels held in place by the cloissons.

The enamel is held in 925 silver and the rope border is 14 carat gold. The button is 3cms diameter.
