of The British Button Society.
The Society was formed in 1976 by a group of people interested in collecting
buttons and researching their history.
There is a wealth of history around buttons and their manufacture - members'
interests include: military, railway, hunt, livery and dress buttons - many
of which are real works of art.
A quarterly magazine, Button Lines,
is mailed to all members, a recent edition is available on request.
