Button identification & collections

 
The Society's membership includes experienced button collectors, whose knowledge covers a wide range of areas.  If you are seeking help in identifying a button, or general information relating to button makers, button history or other button related matters, we may be able to help. If you are seeking information on ‘what to do’ with inherited buttons or unwanted collections, we may also be able to help.

  1. Identifying a button - you can ask for a button identification by e-mailing a photograph of the button (front and back) to Maureen Needham at button@glowbubble.co.uk

    Non members - please note there is a £5 charge for this service, but only if we can help you, payable in advance - see below. For members, this service is free.

  2. Inherited buttons or unwanted collections - for information on ‘what to do’ you can send details to Maureen Needham at button@glowbubble.co.uk

    There is no charge for general enquiries.

 

THERE IS A £5 charge for button identification enquiries:

We will send you a PayPal invoice for £5 ONLY if we can help you. Once this has been paid we will send you the Identification.

Please note that our experts' opinion is based entirely on their years of experience and knowledge, is given without prejudice, and does not include a valuation.   If you are looking for a valuation service, you might find it easier to search for similar items on Ebay or to contact your local Auction house.
